Food is really great! However the only thing I dislike is that they are unwilling to sell you a smaller portion of food. If for example I want a kids meal, they won't sell it to me because I am not a kid. They rather not sell a kids meal to an adult than make some profit. Go on an empty stomach because small portions aren't available lol the chip salsa is too watery also !

Came here with my friend after hiking one morning. Service was good. Food is served in large portions, more then enough to share. I ordered the Carne asada and chiliquiles which I was able to save half for lunch because it was so big. The carne was tender and the chiliquiles were just the right spicy.
When you're done, you pay at the front. Kudos to this restaurant because they found my friend's ID and mailed it to her! Good people. Will be back -

These reviewers can't possibly be real. Literally the worst mexican place in southern california. As I sit here, going on 15 minutes we haven't as much as received a single water and Im dying of thirst. Horrible service, mainly bc owners too cheap to hire enough wait staff, food is poor, and well really everything is poor. So do yourself a favor and go to one of the actual decent mexican spots that can be found anywhere. Don't waste your time and money at this one.

Was craving Mexican food so I gave this restaurant a try.. it was not busy at all. The prices are fair. I ordered all you can eat but only managed to eat 1 plate. The horchata is good. Restaurant looked cleaned. However, the service needs to improve. There were only 4 tables that were occupied but the waitress took a long time to check up on us, she had forgot the horchata I ordered and was finally was able to get her attention when I was almost done with my food. She was talking to her coworker instead of attending to the customers. Don't think I will he coming back.

Yummy!!! If you want authentic Mexican food, this is the place for you!!! The food is always well prepared and the cost is very reasonable. All their servers are friendly and quick to serve you. This is a little gem in Duarte/Monrovia.
